Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Universal Declaration of Human Rights defines the main postulates of the rights and freedoms of the person acknowledged all over the world.

European Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms Convention.

European Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms Convention settles the obligation of the countries-participants of the Convention (including Ukraine) guarantee to every citizen his rights immunity and fundamental freedoms, fixed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; defines the legal status of the European Court of Justice on human rights protection as the single body the main task of which is protection of rights and fundamental freedoms, fixed in the  Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

 

Conventions about legal redress and legal relationship on civil, family and criminal cases of the years 1993, 2002.


For Ukraine the Convention about legal redress and legal relationship on civil, family and criminal cases of the years 1993, 2002 came into effect on 14.04.1995, defines the legal order giving the legal redress in the relations arising between Ukraine and its citizens and Russia, Moldova, Belorussia,  Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and the citizens of the indicated states.
Conventions about legal redress and legal relationship on civil, family and criminal cases of the year 2002 for the present day did not come into effect, however the Ministry of Justice conduct works on preparation the suggestions neccessary for ratification of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine Convention.
